School Excursion
“Armonia-Zen” is pleased to invite you to an adventurous trip with an Environmental-Educational-Experiential-Entertainment-Sports character.
This is a visit to the most exquisite spots of Athens, Attica and all of Greece in general (National Parks, Aesthetic Forests, National Parks) in terms of environmental importance, cultural and aesthetic value.
-Integrated into the Ministry of Education website edu-gate.minedu.gov.gr, with vast experience in education and collaboration with most private, as well as many public, educational institutions and clubs in Athens and drawing joy from our involvement with children, we design and implement experiential, environmental and sports programs with outdoor activities/games. We place particular emphasis on careful organization, the careful selection of collaborating Physical Education Teachers – Educators and the excellent quality-cost ratio.

Programs we organize:
- FOREST or WATER program based on the skills workshop of the Ministry of Education.
- Treasure hunt program FLORA/FAUNA of Greece with life-size posters – themes.
- RIENTEERING race program with compasses in the forests of Attica.
- Introduction to HORSE RIDING program in an equestrian club of Drosia.
- Introduction to RIVER RAFTING program on the Ladonas/Dafni river in Kalavryta.
- FIRES/WASTE program on the borders of the burned areas of Attica.
- Introduction to SKI-SNOWBOARDING program.
- Reenactment program of the BATTLE OF MARATHON.
- Travel program on the theme of the GREEK REVOLUTION in Limbovitsi/village Th. Kolokotroni, Dimitsana, Vytina, Kalavryta, Agia Lavra, Mega Spilaio,
as well as the new program on the theme of “unknown Attica”. These are visits to the most exquisite spots in Athens and Attica in general, spots of exceptional environmental, historical, cultural and aesthetic interest, mostly unknown to the people who live in Attica, but above all, unknown to the students of the schools of our prefecture. Spots and locations that often have many myths and legends following them…
Program “Discovering unknown Attica”:
- Excursion to Cave of Daveli/Valanaris Waterfall/Doukissis Plakentias Tower on Mount Penteli.
- Excursion to the Open Museum of Quarry Art/Aloula Museum on Mount Penteli.
- Excursion to the waterfalls-Rapentosa Dam/Dionysus on Mount Penteli.
- Excursion to the lake/dam of Marathon- Byzantine church of Agia Paraskevi in Marathon.
- Excursion to Lake Beletsi/Ippokrateios Politeia on Mount Parnitha.
- Excursion to the former royal estates of Tatoi/Parnitha.
- Excursion to the plateau of Mola-Parnitha National Park on Mount Parnitha.
- Excursion Aesthetic forest-wetland Schinias in Marathon.
- Excursion Aesthetic Forest of Hymettus, Kaisariani & Byron-monastery of Kaisariani in Hymettus.
- Excursion Sounio National Park in Lavreotiki.
* Our goal is to highlight all these interesting places in Attica through these experiential visits and we aspire, thanks to Armonia-Zen, all students get to know them.
-There is also the possibility of organizing activities/games in the school yard, in a nearby grove or park, where there is no need to travel by bus.
-Our goal is to “activate” children and make them love nature and the environment like we do. We believe that by bringing the new generation closer to nature, we strengthen environmental protection, forest protection and ecology.
